​Mahogany Protégé sessions are about making leadership and HR match what we say we value. When I come in, we look at where voice is going quiet, where processes are unintentionally pushing people out, and what leaders can adjust right now so people can lead as themselves. It is practical because I sit in HR every day, and it is research-informed because I study the people who meet the strongest barriers at work.

Humanizing leadership

This session is for managers and senior staff. We name what makes people pull back. We look at how identity shows up in real meetings. Then we practice a few leadership moves people can try this month so conversations feel safer and more people contribute.

People-centered HR and Development

This session is for HR teams, supervisors, and mission-driven organizations. We walk through a way to evaluate and support staff that does not punish differences and still keeps expectations clear. It works whether you are refreshing reviews, coaching newer managers, or trying to make culture more consistent.

Learning Labs

This is a working space. Participants bring real situations from work. We try language. We test boundaries. We decide what to do next. People leave with words they can use the same day.

What It Feels Like
