Humanizing leadership and
people-centered development.
Leadership development for Black women and the organizations that want to keep them.
Cohorts, circles, and retreats that help women lead without shrinking, and help workplaces redesign the room instead of asking people to become someone else.
Mahogany Protégé Leadership Cohort
A leadership journey for Black women and women of color navigating workplaces that do not always recognize their full voice.

Inside this cohort, we name what is happening day to day. We practice new ways of leading that protect dignity and drive results.

We design next steps that support both career growth and personal well-being.

This is a care-centered, research-grounded space led by a practitioner scholar who lives this work in HR and in doctoral research.

Work with Mahogany Protégé
Mahogany Protégé develops leaders and partners with organizations that want their workplace culture to reflect their stated values.

We design from the leadership experiences of Black women and women of color because they often encounter system gaps first. When development is built from that reality, the impact strengthens the entire organization.

For Individuals
Black women and women of color join our cohorts to deepen their voice, strengthen their leadership presence, and navigate power with clarity and confidence.

Join the Mahogany Protégé interest list for upcoming pilot offerings and the 2026 launch. We’ll share dates, early invitations, founding member pricing, and scholarship options for women and HR partners.
For Organizations and HR Leaders
HR and organizational leaders partner with us to:
Retain and advance high-potential talent
Strengthen leadership pipelines
Build people-centered HR practices
Create environments where employees can lead without erasing themselves
Participation requires honoring the focus of the cohort and
protecting a care-centered space.
Return to Voice Retreat
Return to Voice is an in-person, three-day leadership and healing retreat created for women who have been leading while carrying too much. We examine the workplace and cultural messages that taught us to shrink, overperform, or stay quiet in rooms we helped build. Then we practice new ways of speaking and setting boundaries so we can go back to work leading as ourselves. This retreat is grounded in the leadership stories of women and is open to women and partners who will honor that focus. The goal is simple. Leave clearer. Leave lighter. Leave with a plan you can actually live.
